Dear {FIRST_NAME} Welcome to the first edition of the asklilach newsletter for 2009: New Year, new start and new newsletter format! Our new format will update you a useful business article, and give more details on one of our specific services. I had a great seasonal break, and took the time to review my business plan, my invoicing procedure and came up with new, fresh ideas for both my companies. I really believe that 2009 will be a great year for me, in contradiction to the general economic woe, and that it can be the same for you too! We love feedback, so let us know what you think of this new format. Is it more informative and useful - or do you prefer the shorter, snappier version? | | Event: Networking with Billy Schwer | As the leading Business Networking groups in the Hertfordshire area, Herts Connections, Business Scene and The Hertfordshire Networkers Club of Ecademy have joined forces to host a networking event for local businesses and organisations on Thursday 15th January 2009. The event offers a unique opportunity to communicate directly with circa 200 key local business owners and stakeholders alongside some of the most successful networking groups in the area. Taking place at The Audi dealership, Watford from 18:00 the event will include: · Reception with canapés; · Guest speaker; Billy Schwer · Promotional area where key local businesses will be there to talk through their services and products face-to-face; · Marketplace board providing offers and discounts exclusive to event attendees. We are delighted to have Billy Schwer as our guest speaker at the event. Billy spent 20 years at the top in Boxing, arguably the most gruelling and demanding sport there is. His engaging personality and ready wit made him a favourite amongst other boxers, promoters and the media and he brings this style to his speaking career.

| | Internet Marketing | Internet marketing is a must to promote your business in the future. Even in this global economic downturn, if you know how to market yourself or your company online, you can bring in more sales and probably even alternative income streams. Nowadays, the key to succeeding in business is being able to adapt to changing trends and also capitalising on the power of the internet to reach your target niche, not only in the UK but also in other places across the globe. Limited knowledge of internet marketing should not be used as an excuse for not trying out online promotion.
Marketing your goods and services on the internet is not really that hard. If you are not familiar with the internet, then it is probably the right time for you to check out the World Wide Web. Another way you can learn more about advertising online is by reading books about internet marketing. Just make sure that the ones you buy are published not earlier than 2006 so that you would be able to adopt the new advertising trends already. Research is a useful tool (and free!) check out what your competitors are doing. You can learn a lot about promoting (or even how not too) your business online from your market rivals. But even if you read books, magazines, or web pages about internet marketing, you might not immediately know what to do. Instead of wasting time learning how you can properly promote your business in cyberspace, you may want to try hiring a virtual assistant. Not only will this type of assistant be affordable, you will also be spared the cost of computer, fax machine, telephone and other gadgets because they normally work from their own office. Even if you still do not have a good grasp of how to market your business online, your virtual assistant will already do that for you. Simply having a website is no longer enough to boost your earnings and to effectively market your products and services. What you need to do is to seek the help of your virtual assistant to maintain a regular blog, create informative articles related to your business, and actively participate in forums and social networking sites. For maximum results, it may be a good idea to find a virtual assistant who has a good knowledge about internet marketing so that you can explore e-books, online newsletters, podcasts, and videos. © Ask Lilach Limited If you would like to read more of asklilach's articles please click here.

| If you don't take your calls, your competitors will! | Surveys have shown that 70% of people ringing to enquire about a service will not leave a message if they encounter voicemail. You don’t have to loose that customer with our telephone answering service. Use us as your own ‘virtual’ receptionist and have all your calls professionally answered by a real person. The messages are sent to you as a text and email and you can divert to us as little or as often as you want. We offer a great value service, and are so confident that you will think the same that we're offering a free trail: How it works: It really is this easy…
We take no money up front - only your details so that your account is set up if you decide to continue or have a small balance to pay if you exceed the free limit
We allocate you a line of your own (called a DDI) - this means that every time a call comes to us via this number your company name automatically appears on our screens for us to answer as your Virtual Receptionist.
We give you a password protected 'web based office'. It will take you only a few minutes to give us the summary information that we need to be able to start taking your calls. You can even update it daily if you need to.
All you then need to do is DIVERT your phone and leave us to do the rest
For more information or to start the FREE MONTH'S TRIAL please contact asklilach on 01442 231663 or email info@asklilach.co.uk
